Firecracker Safety Tips

Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and joyful celebration.

DO's

Always supervise children closely when playing with firecrackers.
Keep a bucket of water or sand nearby in case of emergencies.
Light crackers in open spaces, completely free from dry grass or wires.
Wear closed footwear and tight-fitting cotton clothes.
Maintain a safe distance immediately after lighting a cracker.

DON'Ts

Never try to re-light a cracker that has failed to explode.
Do not ignite fireworks inside a container, bottle, or tin.
Never carry fireworks in your pockets or hands while lighting.
Strictly avoid lighting crackers indoors or near vehicles.
Avoid wearing loose, flowing garments or synthetic clothes.
